Recipe: Turmeric Rose Latte Popsicles

INGREDIENTS

3 CUPS PLAIN WATER

3/4 CUP DRY SMOOTHIE LIFE APOTHECARY ‘TURMERIC ROSE’ LATTE BLEND

1/3 CUP BLANCHED ALMOND BUTTER

1/3 CUP MAPLE SYRUP

1 TBSP COCONUT BUTTER (ALSO REFERRED TO AS COCONUT MANNA)

A FOUR OR SIX PIECE POPSICLE SET WITH STICKS


INSTRUCTIONS

  • BRING 3 CUPS OF PLAIN WATER TO A BOIL AND REMOVE FROM HEAT.

  • ADD 1/2 CUP OF THE HOT WATER ALONG WITH BLANCHED ALMOND BUTTER, COCONUT BUTTER AND MAPLE SYRUP TO A HIGH SPEED BLENDER.

  • BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH AND THOROUGHLY COMBINED THEN SET ASIDE.

  • ADD DRY ‘TURMERIC ROSE’ LATTE BLEND TO THE REMAINING 2 CUPS OF HOT WATER AND LET STAND FOR 30 MINS.

  • AFTER 30MINS, STRAIN THE LIQUID THROUGH A FINE MESH STRAINER OR A FRENCH PRESS THEN ADD TO BLENDER WITH THE PREVIOUS BLEND OF INGREDIENTS.

  • BLEND ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER UNTIL WELL COMBINED AND POUR INTO POPSICLE MOLDS.

  • ADD COVERS AND/OR STICKS TO FINISH AND PLACE IN THE FREEZER FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS OR UNTIL THE POPSICLES ARE FULLY FORMED.

  • MAKES 4 - 6 POPSICLES DEPENDING ON THE MOLD.
